Why .Net is widely used ?

.Net is language independent. If you are a C++ developer or VB developer or C# developer or F# developer you can easily work in .Net.

.Net framework provides you a lot of library files for easy use and we can develop the application faster than developing in Java.

.Net technology has a tool called VISUAL STUDIO to develop the front end designs which makes us to finish our work faster and easier.

We dont need to code for the UI designs.

To use the .Net application in other platform, we can go for the web application asp.net.

There are many .Net languages are available like c#.Net, VB.Net, f#.Net. C++.Net, python.Net, Ruby.Net etc...

Thats why .Net is widely used!!

Basic classes!!

Before joining into the Spark training, just go through the OS concepts, Algorithms and difference between the various programming languages.

It will be helpful at the first day of the training.

At first they will start from OS concepts and then only they will move to the programming languages.

Today I had a class on generics.

My trainer asked us to develop some programs on C to check our skills and to check how we are implementing logic's in the the program.

The questions are like:

1).
Input: This is test sample one!!
Output: This0is01test01234567sample0123456789012one!!

(the spaces should be filled from the numbers 0 to 9. If the number exceeds 9 then it starts from 0 again.)----- TRY IT YOURSELF

2). Input : This is sample
Output: sihT si elpmas (Not entire string reverse)

(every word should be in reverse. But not reverse the entire string. reverse each word)

Choose your batch for the training...

On the reporting day, you will meet many people and you guys will become friends on the same day. If you want be with them in your training period, I suggest you people to stay in the same class for the first day of your training.

Else you will be in the different classes as well as different technologies.

Working in real time projects

Once you are selected in any of the IT industry, they will assign you a team for the project. You will have your senior teammates, and Team Leader for your team.

You will be working in the technology which your area of interest is.
(If you are selected for the .Net developer, then you will be working in .Net technology)

And your team will be called as Development team. Likewise you will have a analyst team, Designing team, Testing team, Deployment team, Database administration.

If you are good in any other department apart from developing, then you ca move to that particular department.

Hands on training!!!

Got a trainer from CTS!!!

The trainer has a extraordinary knowledge in .Net technology and the way of training is really appreciable.

This is not like a college level training. This training is really different and the trainer provides a lot information about all technologies like Java, .Net, Database. They are completely training us to work in a real time projects.

Even though if we are not selected at the end of the training, definitely the knowledge you got from the training will help you to get the job in MNC.

Course introduction...

Interesting day!!!

In morning session, they just gave us a brief introduction about .Net.

Like what are the features of .Net and what are the components using in .Net.

Also discussed about the various tools using to develop the .Net applications.

Later they conducted the various activities for developing the communication skills, listening skills, simple presentations and games to interact with everyone from my batch...

Java or .Net

Totally we have 68 members in our training center. They split us into 2 batchs.

And one batch is going to attend the training in Java technology.

Other batch is .Net batch

If you want to change your technology for the training, you can ask your trainer and change.

For first 30 days, they will cover the basics of the particular technologies.

-- General concepts

-- Related to your Technology

-- Database for your Technology

After these 30 days we will have a 2 assessment tests. We will have to score more than 65%.

After 30 days.

-- Advanced concepts in your technology
-- Working with tools
-- UI
-- Project development

After these days we will have 3 assessment tests. We will have to score more than 65%

If you performed will in all the assessments, you will be considered for the interview.

Spark IT Pre assesment test

In morning session I had a pre-assessment test. The questions were basic and easy only.

Questions from: Java, Data Structures and OS

There are 33 questions which contains both 2 and 3 marks. The total mark is 100.

Questions like:

Finding average waiting time in FCFS and Round Robin sorting algorithm

Finding output for simple java programs

Finding the errors in programs

Some algorithm definations

------Duration of the test is 90mins

Make sure your name in the offer letter matches with your govt ID proof.

If not, it will be an issue at the time of document verification process.

Training #1

First day:

My training started from afternoon session only. Bcoz I had a bank account opening process.

They asked us to provide the details like ID, Name, Email, Mobile No to create a login ID for the training.

We are gonna use this ID in the future session.

After that, one trainer showed up and give us a introduction about the training period.

We will have a pre assessment test on the next day.

Based on the test result, they will split batches.

After that they just gave us an activity to interact with everyone from the batch. It was really fun and entertainment.

Later, they gave us short notes about OOPS concept.

Thats all for the first day...

My training ends on 6.30 Pm

In between the training period, you will have a two 20 minutes break and 1 hour for lunch break.

Bank account opening process

Its the first day of my training.

Morning session: Bank Account Opening process (ICICI Bank)

Documents to be submitted for account opening:

1. 2 copy of PAN card xerox
2. one copy of address proof (Driving license/ Aadhar card/ any govt ID card) and also you have to show the original

If you dont have original card for address proof, then they will not process your account. So please carry your original address proof( Driving license/ Aadhar card/ any govt ID card) when you are going for training.

They will help you to fill the application form. So dont worry about that.

After that they will give you the kit which contains check book, ATM card, user guide, and password for ATM card and internet banking.

Thats all about the bank account opening process!!

Admit card

I didn't get my admit card fort the reporting day. I asked Infosys team and they told me to wait until the end of reporting day.

Actually, nobody got the admit card from my batch.

On the first day, after the document verification they marked present for us.

At the end of the day, I received my admit card and I was asked to submit the admit card along with the documents on the first day of the training.

Document submission

They verified the documents on the very first day.

After verified the document, the Infosys team asked us to scan and send the documents to their mail id.

I sent these documents:

10th mark sheet

12th mark sheet

college mark sheets (all semester)

provisional certificate

photo and address ID proof (I sent license copy)

Reporting Day 19th Dec, Domlur

My reporting date is 19th Dec and 1st day of training is 22nd Dec

Nobody received the admit card for that program till the reporting date.

I was informed to report on 19th Dec 2014 at Domlur HSV layout. Actually they are not gonna give you a training in INFOSYS company. So dont hope for it.

I was asked to report on that day in one training center. We waited for a long time, but they didn't show up. Finally they asked us to report in another location which is Jeyanagar (Bangalore). There was an another training center where they are gonna give us a training.

(actually this kind of trouble is not gonna happen for you people)

We went there by 11 Am. They just gave us a travel reimbursement form to claim the travel expenses for the first day. and we were told to submit the form on first day of the training.

Then 2 people showed up and asked for the documents.
(They will send you the mail regarding the required documents. So dont worry about that.)

We one by one showed the documents and submitted our passport size photos.

After that they marked present for us for the first day.

Actually bank account opening process could have done on the same day. But we didn't have enough time to make that. So they asked to finish that process on the 1st day of training.

Thats all on my reporting day...

Spark IT Daily updates

Hey guys...

I am Sasikumar Yuvaraj. I completed my engineering in the stream of Information Technology at Velammal Engineering College. I've attended many interviews but no positive results to share.

Almost I gave up on searching jobs and planned to start my own business. But finally I got an offer letter for "Infosys Spark IT" 3 months training program.

It gave me an hope for entering in the IT field. But at first I just got offer letter only. I didn't know what to do next. My reporting date was 19th Dec 2014 in Bangalore.

Finally, I sent many mails and got the know what to do next.

I was panicked for everything before joining in this training. So I am gonna share everything about the training program for your references.
